Contact Us
We preserve Lecce’s written memory to share it with the city and future generations.
Our collections include deeds, registers, and documents that tell the story of centuries of administrative, social, and cultural life — precious traces of a community in constant evolution.
The Historical Archive is a public service of the Municipality of Lecce, open to everyone: researchers, students, and citizens curious to rediscover the area’s past and uncover, among the papers, the roots of today’s city.
