processing the personal data of users who consult the website

This information does not apply to other websites, pages or online services accessible via hyperlinks
that may be published on this portal but refer to external resources.

The Website is managed by HAPPY MINDS srl società uninominale, with registered office in Via A. Mariani 7 –
48121 Ravenna, VAT no. 02350590390, acting as Data Processor (pursuant to Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679)
on behalf of the Municipality of Lecce.
Data Protection Officer
A Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed to verify compliance of our personal data processing
activities with this privacy notice and with applicable data protection legislation.

The DPO is available for enquiries concerning the processing of your personal data and serves as the contact
point for the Supervisory Authority.
Legal Basis and Purposes of Processing
The Website collects different categories of data for the following purposes:
- enabling users to submit contact or appointment requests;
- responding to enquiries regarding school visits;
- managing the technical and automatic collection of data required for interaction with the Website;
- processing data voluntarily provided by users or sent via email to the addresses indicated on the Website.
Only upon explicit request by the user/citizen to subscribe to the dedicated communication channel,
the Controller will also process data for the following purpose:
- managing subscription requests to the Archive’s WhatsApp channel to stay updated on news and receive
institutional information.
These processing activities are lawful as they are carried out for the performance of a task carried out in the
public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Municipality of Lecce.
Types of Data Processed
Browsing Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Website acquire, during their normal operation,
certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and devices used by users, URI/URL addresses of
requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the
file obtained in response, the numerical status code indicating the outcome of the server’s response, and other
parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are also processed to:
- obtain statistical information on the use of services;
- verify the correct functioning of the institutional services offered.
Browsing data are retained for no longer than seven days and are deleted immediately after being aggregated,
except where required for the investigation of crimes by judicial authorities.
Data Provided by the User
Submitting forms on the Website involves the acquisition of the user’s data necessary for providing the requested
service (name, surname, email, telephone number, city, reason for contact).
Processing activities are carried out exclusively by personnel authorised by the Municipality and by HAPPY MINDS srl
and are necessary for performing institutional functions.
Provision of Data
Providing the data requested in the contact forms is optional. Failure to provide such data does not entail any
consequence for the user.
Recipients of Data
Your data may be communicated to:
- employees and internal collaborators of the Municipality;
- third-party companies contractually linked to the Municipality or other entities providing outsourced services
(e.g. hosting providers, website development and maintenance providers, platform management providers),
appointed as external processors where required; - third parties where communication is necessary for the Municipality’s activities.
Personal data will not be disseminated. However, they may be disclosed to Police Forces, Judicial Authorities,
security or intelligence bodies, or other public entities where required by law.
Processing takes place at the premises of the Municipality or of HAPPY MINDS srl, and no data is transferred to
non-EU countries.
Data Retention Period
Data are used exclusively for the purposes described above and retained for the time necessary to carry out the
Municipality’s institutional and administrative activities, according to the retention and disposal plans of the Entity.
Rights of Data Subjects
To exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15–22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (access, rectification, erasure,
restriction, objection, etc.), please refer to the general privacy notice available on the Website.
These rights may also be exercised by submitting a request to the Municipality of Lecce or to the Data Protection
Officer (DPO) using the contact details provided.
Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
